Look And Feel
Fresh, handy, and Organized
Shopping at farmers market is inconvenience for
many shoppers. Because first, hour of farmers market is very short and does not fitthe schedules for most consumer. According to the research, 21% respondents cited limited hours and locations as barriers to using markets. At the time of the study, there were 9 markets across all neighborhoods. Each market location operated one day per week within a set 4-6 hour window. And also, many different time and location are difficult to find where I need to go to shopping.
According to other research, respondents also indicated the primary reason for not attending farmers’ markets. The primary reasons farmers’ markets were not attended were similar between shoppers and non-shoppers. Both groups primarily do not attend farmers’ markets because they are held at inconvenient times and parking is a problem.
Research
Last, consumer cannot know what they sell and
are difficult to find products. Based on research in 2010, 29% respondents described farmers’ markets as more difficult to find products than grocery stores. One costumer said "I’m looking for specific things and want to see a sign that lists all the products and the prices."
